The great switch-a-roo

Josh and I decided to give up our (too) large bedroom and give it to the kiddos while we take their (too) small bedroom.

Come on, honestly...what do Josh and I do in our bedroom besides sleeping...and well er...other bed related stuff? If we're in our room we're dressing or in bed. No need for a GIANT room for just us. The kiddos on the other hand do tend to spend a great deal of time in their bedroom playing or whatever. So this weekend (and well all week) we have been working on the great switcharoo. I'm nearly finished. Just have to sort through our closet (which will remain in the big room because 1) our clothes are bigger and need more space and 2) I'm simply too freaking lazy to move EVERYTHING) The closet entails clearing off Josh's dresser to avoid temptation for little ones and seeing what needs to be put in the other closet (glass stuff, stuff we want to keen nice, etc).

My dresser, the nighstand, our bed and the TV stand is now in the 2nd bedroom. It leaves a person sized path to get to and from the closet and once James new bed comes (a la my little brother, wove him!!!) James will have a REAL room!!! I'm going to get as much of MY crap out of James room so he has plenty of room to play.

He loves it thus far. I'll tell him to put something in his room and he says "In my new bedroom? What used to be your bedroom, but now it's mine?" LOL what a goof.
